Description
Megan Premoe, '02, joins the Women of SU to share how she left behind the 9-5 routine and a broken engagement to reboot her life with a one-way ticket to New Zealand and a year for traveling the world. Megan will share how, through her adventures (living in a remote village in Fiji, watching wild warthogs warm their toes by the fire in Swaziland, working at a jungle yoga retreat in Thailand) and her misadventures (lost limbs, dengue fever, wild packs of dogs) in 22 countries, she learned how to be her own best friend and the power of following your dreams. She’s now been to 64 countries and all seven continents. Megan never tires of talking about her travels and shedding light on the hidden world of women travelers.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from Megan, ask her questions and make valuable connections. Wine, beer and appetizers will be provided!
We hope you'll join us to discover how you too, can break out of the 9-5 rut and explore the world.
